Kenan DunsonKenan’s first job was to get up at the crack of dawn to work in his grandfather’s (and in most of his neighbor's) gardens in rural VA. It was in those gardens that Kenan developed an appreciation for food less traveled and for hands-on hard work. Kenan presently consults with the US Government on acquisition policy, procedure and oversight and most enjoys eating good food! In addition to being on the Board of Common Good City Farm, Kenan is an elected member of his condominium association board and Vice President of the LeDroit Park Civic Association. Kenan was born and raised in Washington DC, currently lives in LeDroit Park, and is responsible for the cool aerial photos seen on this web site. |

Martin MoultonNative Californian, Martin Moulton, grew up with his family's seven different fruit trees (and a neighbor's english walnut trees) which supplied a constant supply of organically home grown delicacies. During his childhood, he and his brother worked on his uncle's livestock farm where he learned to appreciate being able to touch the original sources his family's food. A life long cyclist (who's never owned a car or even a motor vehicle license) Martin is also the Vice President of the board of directors for Washington Area Bicyclist Association (WABA.org). He is the President of the Convention Center Community Association (CCCA-online.org) serving residents and business owners and schools in the Shaw neighborhood. He works as a mini commissioner for the DC Department of the Aging. He has worked part time for almost 20 years for the National Audubon Society promoting their programs. Now living in the historic Shaw neighborhood and volunteering as a mentor and reading tutor at a local elementary school, Martin joined Common Good City Farm board to help spread the love and enjoyment of locally harvested, personally grown and raised food to young children, senior citizens and families deprived of such opportunities in an urban environment. |
